Edmond Medical Center has been a part of the Edmond landscape since 1947 when a small hospital was founded and built by a group of community business leaders and physicians- people who were determined to provide the residents of the community with their own hospital.

Today, Edmond Medical Center is a regional medical center which combines state-of-the-art technology with compassionate care for the residents of Edmond, northern Oklahoma County and southern Logan County. The hospital features an impressive Level III emergency department that has been recognized nationally as a leader in patient satisfaction. Other hospital services include: cardiopulmonary care, intensive care, rehabilitation services, diagnostic imaging, pain management, medical/surgical care, geropsychiatric care, spine care, liver care, ENT clinic, surgical weight loss unit, cardiac care, a sleep disorder program and an outpatient physical therapy and sports medicine program.

The hospital is dedicated to community education and offers monthly programs as well as ongoing support groups. It also supports the community through a number of special events and sponsorships. Edmond Medical Center is an HCA facility and is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations. It has nearly 400 physicians on staff representing more than 50 specialties, 400 dedicated employees and 90 loyal members of the volunteer auxiliary.
